As part of expanded college football studio coverage this fall, NBC Sports Group has added former ESPN/ABC analyst Doug Flutie to its roster.
USA Today reported Sunday that Flutie will join fellow analyst Roland Williams and host Liam McHugh on NBC/Versus’ newly renamed college football studio show, College Football Live.
The studio show, which will strangely share the same name as ESPN’s daily college football studio program, will air before and after all college football games on NBC and Versus.
Flutie is no stranger to Versus, having called UFL telecasts for the network in 2009 and 2010. He previously served as a college football studio and game analyst for ESPN from 2006 to 2008.
